This is a comprehensive guide and contains information on over 200 pubs selling real ale in the Halifax & Calderdale district. It has been carefully compiled over the last 6 months by members of the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale who have carried out visits to over 300 pubs and establishments in the area with full “on” licences to gather information. In addition to basic pub details (including facilities) the guide contains historical details about the featured pubs and many original line-art pictures. There is also a lot of other useful information including how to reach the pubs by public transport.
